komoco dancer and collaborator
Kc workshop
kc workshop welcomes professional dancers and movers from diverse backgrounds, offering a physical and sensorial exploration that opens new possibilities within the body. komoco’s movement language dives into theatricality and expressivity, blurring dance, theatre, and performance art. movers are invited to embody stories and emotions with visceral presence, accessing a raw state where movement and sensation fuse. the work highlights vulnerability, tension, conflict, and intimacy, inviting movers to communicate complex inner worlds. in workshops dedicated to professionals, the laboratory concludes with the learning and sharing of excerpts from the company repertoire, encouraging curiosity, risk-taking, and a deepening of artistic identity. through shared practice, participants cultivate awareness, refine their craft, and expand their expressive potential. this process supports growth and transformation.
the description reflects an artist’s idea which was developed at the time it was submitted to b12. it may have changed by the time the workshop or the performance project is starting. please stay flexible. thank you!
