this performance project is designed for about 17 people and lasts 13 days (tuesday off). it will be performed three times alongside two other performance projects at dock 11, a theater in the center of berlin. edivaldo's performance project runs from july 7 to 19, 2026.

Pulsars
edivaldo’s work explores how collective creation and group gatherings shape relationships, support shared intentions, and cultivate movement toward a common goal. through a combination of improvisation and set material, participants investigate behaviors, expressions, and ways of communication between individuals. images and movement gestures are developed in collaboration with the dancers, and placed in dialogue with one another throughout the piece. structured around a non-linear narrative, the work unfolds as a sequence of events which moves across time.

biography
edivaldo ernesto (mozambique/de) is a dancer, teacher, choreographer, and improvisation expert, with a mozambican background and western africa traditional dance influence. he has experience in performances, improvisations, and as assistant teacher for the flying low and passing through technique with david zambrano. he has worked in collaboration with linda kapetanea and rootlessroot in the duet htt, with oscar winner hauschka in the duet encounter, with marco blaauw in the duet i can’t breathe, and as a guest choreographer with lenka vagnerova & company, as well as various dance schools across europe. he is the creator and developer of depth movement workshop and next level, teaching and performing across europe, north america, south america, and asia. he is also a former member of sasha waltz and guests company.
